Soft Glass is a soft rubber hollow tubing used just like buna
Using the frosted cording, take pinata inks (alcohol based) and inject it through the cord. This lets you color the cord to any color you wish. It's light weight and since solid pc beads can add quite a bit of weight to a necklace that is one less thing to worry about weight wise. There is no shredding (leather cording,ribbon and satin/silk cording all shred) and it is very strong. Colored wire works wonderfully as well as dmc floss to run thru the cord. It can also be cut into tube beads and used as spacer beads to add just a splash of color here and there in your necklace, bracelet or even earrings.
To make a necklace without any type of closure (long necklaces that slip over the head) drill two holes into your pendant the same size of the cording and polybonder/super glue the tubing into the holes, one of my favorite transfer pendants is done this way and it has withstood a washing in my washing machine, over 1 year of wear and tear and I do wear this necklace a lot. I get no irratation from this cording what so ever and I am allergic to elastic and latex..... tips by Kathy Gedrich
